“No matter how I choose to experience my inner space, I find peace. At this center of peace, I am. I am the pureness and stillness of the center of my creative process. In peace, I create. In peace, I live and move and experience life. Because I keep myself centered in inner peace, I have peace in my outer world.”

Compassion is the core of all humanity, for without compassion the world will face dilemmas of unbelievable proportions!  At this time in your history you are observing what the lack of compassion can and will do for a society. This lack of compassion that exists in your world today comes from deep-rooted fears. You have been brain trained to look for the fear, few today are looking for the good in all, you become more concerned with who needs to be fixed, changed and what it is that needs to be brought forth so that they can be just like someone else. With compassion there is no fear! Humans have lost sight of all that is good within themselves, and it is through understanding how this came to be that they could undo what has been done and start to be who they are. Many today believe they are compassionate but they tend to be looking for what their compassion will get for them. Whether it is a job which will provide them with money in order to survive, a place in society, manipulation to get information which they need to have to harm others through control or whether it be just to say that they have compassion for others in order to be accepted into the outside world.

When true compassion exists there is never a question about it. Each human being was born with the capacity to have true compassion for all that is a part of creation and mother earth. It is about honoring the journey of others through life, by first honoring your own journey through life. Looking at another human being and being able to feel what they feel, sense what they sense and truly understand what they need to have understood, not from a personally biased point of view, but from their own unique place of learning will put it all back together. It is in innocence that compassion is born. As a small child you are compassionate and this compassion every parent has seen in the eyes of their newborn child. Some misread the compassion the child feels for its parent and surroundings as helplessness, however, these wonderful new beings, are exactly that. They come into the world innocent, pure and full of compassion for all that is around them. They learn very quickly to replace the compassion with helplessness because that is what it is that they are taught. The love and special feelings flowing between a parent and a child can be observed, however, there has been guidance given to the human being, which reinforces the helplessness predominant in the world today. Have you seen a child look into the eyes of their parent who is having difficulty, and observed the pureness of spirit and love, that flows outward from the child to the parent? Have you observed what happens when the child does this and the parent is unwilling or unable to see this compassion because they are so crowded by thought existing outside of themself? What is it that the child learns from this message, which is being given to them? Compassion is not to be! I have made a mistake! In order to be accepted I must not have this compassion, it is wrong, unhealthy and not to be shared! They will hold that compassion on the inside, until it is eventually pushed so far down inside of themselves that it becomes something foreign, unwanted, and something which is not to be acknowledged. It becomes danger territory because compassion given and not understood, can be hurtful and can create responses which were not supposed to be. You can learn much from the innocents who come into the world, they are not helpless, they are pure, understand life in it’s simplest form, and are unconditionally compassionate and care for all who are around them. They simply have learned no different than what they know. We have progressed to a point in life where we have forgotten and misplaced this natural sense, which was our gift to the earth, and replaced it with all of the outside values, which came to us through misunderstood brain training. It is now time to retrieve this wonderful and soft sense, which is still alive in all of you when you allow it to be. The means to accomplish having compassion alive in our lives today, is simply to acknowledge that it exists and give of it freely and in return it will come back to you. As you change, compassion will once again be the most important sense that will bring the earth back to the focus, which it was meant to be. The earth is here to support you, to provide for you and to nourish all that is needed for your life as a human being in this world today. You only know what it is that you know. It is this that will provide for us at this time, because each human being has knowing that has been pushed outside of them, it is retrievable. Respect you, uncover your compassion, and you will change and become who it is that you are, not being what someone else wants you to be. Compassion and Blessings to us all!

Our ego has made us to be more than what we are.  There is not much difference between any of us except our personal interests and how our paths have been groomed, so to speak.  We have to look beyond what is in front of us, what are brain shares with us, and the area within the world we walk or travel to.  We are a part of a much impressive representation of life on this planet.

The stars, the moon, the universes, the planets, our Earth, the trees, the animals, the insects, the weather, the water, the plants, other human beings, and human beings that we don’t even know and haven’t even heard of.  We are a part of births, deaths, and all that entails living and surviving.  We are a part of many cultures that we don’t recognize as our own.  We are a part of dirt, dust, disease, and seasonal changes, babies that were just born that we haven’t held or will never hold.  We are a part of famine, genocide, war, religion, even if we don’t subscribe to any of it.  We are a part of each other’s careers, each other’s interests, and apart of each home.  We are a part of starvation, a part of stardom, a part of obesity and apart of education.  We are a part of your favourite author’s dream.  We apart of the flow of technology, apart of politics and apart of art.  We are a part of every aspect that makes up all societies, and we may not even agree with how we are together with it all.  We are a part of our teachers, our students, our children and all their friends and families.  What is happening in space, on other planets, how our weather is changing, or what is occurring on the other side of Earth – we are a part of it all.

Now do you feel fairly small?! It’s because we are – yet our role is integral to it all.  Our role is important, even if we don’t believe so or understand quite how we tie it all together. Our existence is in sync with all aspects that we know to be.

Our life is like a pond.  Each pond has its own eco system, the plants, birds, animals, insects, rocks, trees. All adapt to be able to survive together with one another. They all affect each region differently and all play an important role in its survival.  Remember that each pond is different…There are several different types of ponds in different types of environments on this Earth.  And yet, they all rely on each other to exist and rely on each other to assist in change.

As we are now becoming aware of global warming and the effects that we all play on the Earth’s systems…our actions today are affecting weather changes and changing the Earth’s systems in all areas of this world.  This is not different to how we affect each other as humans.  For example, many of us are affected by photographs that we see either on TV, in magazines, in books or on the internet.  The people that we see we may not know but they quite possibly change our perspectives on how we view the world and how we change to adapt in our society; our eco system.  Our small movements are grand and make significant changes to all that surrounds us, and is us.

This eco system that we live within is shared by all.  This is why we can’t make one person to be more important than another or make our self to be greater than what we really are.   We are important and all have an equally essential responsibility to one another. We are not the most important and how we live is not the most important.  If we took away our careers, our houses, our cars, our money, our credit, our clothes…we will find a way to adapt.  The outer stimulus in our world is not the driving force behind the survival of our existence.

We all may have a favourite book that we refer many to read, you know the book that changed our life our perspective, well it’s important to remember that piece of writing is a thought.  The thought came from an experience.  Our experiences create perspectives and an experience is what we embark in every moment.  We all share them and we all live them.  Some may simply have an interest in recording their journey or perspective and we find interests in relating our experiences to what we read.  It may have inspired you in some way because as humans, we have experiences, and many times we share similar experiences but don’t record them.

We all have so much to share.  As we live within our “pond” or within our eco system it is important to remember that it cannot be maintained alone.  It is within a regulated system of adaptable elements.  Like humans.  If you were alone on a deserted island, or alone in your bedroom with the curtains closed….are you not a part of that environment, and its existence?  Just being there shifts the surroundings or natural environment and adapts around you and with you. Your existence is powerful yet small.

Please remember that being small is strong and equally important as being big or large.  It is our ego that says we must be grander than what we actually are.  Is the ant not as useful and interesting and powerful as an eagle or grizzly bear? Look at how they survive and adjust to their surroundings.  They are different, yet strangely quite similar.   But their survival techniques are different.  Just like humans, our techniques to fit or survive are unique to our being but we are all doing it similarly; for the greater purpose of living.  Living is simply experiencing and sharing.

Our hero or heroine, our leaders, the people we love and look up to or inspire our journey; their journey is the same as yours.  Its how they adapted and how their interests guided them.  Just remember that it’s the ego that places them above or below us.  Our ego defines what talent, who has worth is and what is the definition of success. We are equal but we are just surviving differently.

If you were to look at the “pond” that you live within…What is your purpose in its system? Are you an animal? An insect? The water? The current? The weather? The Earth? The organism or algae? What role do you play in affecting and functioning within the pond? How about the people or family around you? How have you adapted together within its system? Can you see how there are several ponds on our Earth that are surviving and changing, and also affecting your pond?

Everything that we are doing in our day to day living is contributing.  It may be causing the pond’s survival or contributing to the pond’s destruction.  It is important to remember that nature is not always “nice” as we would like it.  Nature does not last forever either.  So yes, we do contribute to destruction or the demise of systems.  Have you ever thought about the benefits of a lightning storm, or forest fire or flood or tornado? They are devastating to us as humans, our homes, and our survival but for the greater purpose it’s necessary for the overall endurance of our planet.  It’s difficult for our egos to remember that the “not so nice” aspects of living is necessary, and the truth is we don’t last forever but our reason to be and powerfulness comes to focus in the grand scheme of things.  Please don’t let your ego guide you to think that you want the success and notoriety now, because the point then is missed.  Your existence is the greater picture and it’s powerful and it’s equal to all that is living and surviving.

Please remember that you can appear to be the smallest part of the world’s performance but your role is large in the grand representation.  We all are pretty small playing a big position.  Size is simply ego driven and ego made.

Be the change you want to see in the world.  Ghandi.

The Gift of Now

The present is a gift, which is given to you.

Not forward, not backward, the present is now, this moment and it is in this now that the human no longer exists, or cannot be.

Much of what we have learned in earth school, has removed the human from being, and you have missed the gift, which has been placed before you and was developed by you as the internal monitor and source of your personal power.

This personal power will create an energy surge far stronger than anything else in the universe or on the earth plane. Imagine yourself to be rooted in the time, which is before you.

Can you even begin to comprehend that all that there is in now?

So disturbing it is for us who have gone before to observe the misgivings of time humans. Time humans are those who project into the future believing that future is not now, or the time humans who observe the past and stay there because it is known to them and the fear of the future creates such disturbance that they cannot remain in the present. This present is as you would say a gift, and earth school has taught that you are not to accept this gift. It is now time to be now and present.  Not forward, Not Backward but Right Here, Right Now!

Peace, love, light and blessings!

This is a neat story of how I took my first step towards meditation  in a very profound and somewhat embarrassing way!
In the circle of enlightened beings I was informed that my first step towards enlightenment would be to shut down my thoughts and mind. I knew when I finally managed to shut down my thoughts and mind it would lead to the stillness, a place of knowing, and I would instantly know that I had found enlightenment, the true me. Initially I had a lot of difficulty finding this enlightened place and I knew this was something that I would not be able to do on my own, so I researched and looked for mentors (those who knew).

After all, I am no dummy and I can always find the instructions and way when I do my own research! ! So I looked through telephone book, reference materials, talked to enlightened beings, found a store, a healing center, and other places that know about such things, bought movies, and books that I optimistically believed would lead me to this place of excitement, mystery and enlightenment. I had all of the tools at my fingertips and I found what I thought I was looking for and began.

I followed the instructions and I became so totally possessed with getting it that I totally missed it and headed back to the drawing board again. I researched and found that there was a group to assist me and I knew it would lead me to this enlightened state where all would be totally clear and my mind and brain would be totally void so that I could finally find the stillness that exists within me. This was meditation!

Finally the day of the mediation course for me to find my enlightenment was to begin so I entered into a group of total strangers, sat on the floor in the most uncomfortable of positions and I was ready to begin. I grabbed a pillow to cushion my aching body after having spent endless hours during the day working at a desk. I then began by following the instructions to place my body into a contorted position that was totally out of reach for the average human being, let alone me who was somewhat heavy and out of shape.

With legs crossed, hands facing palms up resting on my lap, uttering totally foreign sounds to clear my mind, my brain was screaming “ouch” because my body hurt, but I fearlessly moved forward, because enlightenment was my goal. The physical pain and discomfort of my body I believed to be only a minute part of my being, so my brain kicked in and told me not to worry. I believed that I needed to have physical discipline and be in shape. After all, this is a side benefit of the enlightenment process. Wow, not only will I become the enlightened person I am seeking, I will be physically fit at the same time! What more could I ask for?
As I was sitting uncomfortably in this position ready to begin the trip to my true self, my inner being, my thighs began to ache, but I needed to ignore the aching thighs, how could my mind be clear when my body was aching like this? So I proceeded by giving myself the direction that in order to be enlightened I would just need to put aside the discomfort and it would go away. Sure enough within a short period of time my thighs had no feeling left, they were totally numb and I couldn’t think of a more appropriate time to shut off my mind and be still and silent. I entered the void briefly!

The more that I attempted to shut off the little messages that were flowing through my brain the more that I was thinking “How on earth am I going to be able to stand up when this is done”………but I persevered. Finally, after I analyzed my families needs, the grocery list, the things that I forgot or didn’t have time to do during the day, got past the embarrassment hearing the foreign sounds that were coming from me. I looked around the room and noticed that I was not the only one whose body was jumping and vibrating because the nerves had shut down in my thighs. Then, just briefly, I caught a fleeting glimpse of the stillness of my mind.………………….

I had arrived! With this recognition, panic set in……… this was foreign and being a creative person, I began to create other things to occupy my still mind, because I just was not used to this foreign place. My body then decided that this position was the ideal position to allow the gases that had been building in my system over the past 12 hours with an escape route. This began with my stomach gurgling, my fingers twitching, and my mind tuning into the messages and signals that my body was sending me. My brain informed me that within moments the gas building up would erupt and the room would no longer be still, but everyone may be running for cover.

I justified that enlightened beings could cope with a little gas, and during the time I was still attempting to get to the silence of my mind. I even prayed for the escaping gas to erupt without a sound. The gurgles begin to move lower, and the moment of knowing was about to escape. Would it be silent and smelly or would it be loud without a scent. At this time embarrassment set in, and I become aware of a back-up plan that snuck into my not so still mind.

I tensed up, concentrated on not letting the eruption escape and become more aware of the total numbness that was now encompassing my physical being. Finally the gas escaped, quietly creating a smelly vapour that permeated at least a five foot radius. My thoughts begin to justify the event……the other people were unconscious, would not notice, after all their minds were still Wrong!!! I searched the room and notice nostrils flaring, individuals shifting to escape the quiet but deadly escaping gas, but they were all pretending that the erupting gas was not affecting them. After all they found the stillness of their minds……Right!
Finally the group was finished and it was time to stand up. Fear rushed in as I attempted to unfold my contorted body, while I was hoping that the released gases had not clung to my clothing. I stood up, stretched the muscles in my arms, legs sniffing and as I had hoped the gas no longer lingered. I then smiled innocently at those around me who were opening their eyes, made eye contact with them, nodded in approval, talked about how wonderful my brief encounter with the still mind was and quickly left knowing that the ordeal was over. As I left the building questions continued to formulate in my brain, and I intuitively knew that meditation may be the road of enlightenment for some, but I knew it was definitely not the road for me. I left the building laughing loudly as people walked by in their enlightened state, I felt much lighter physically knowing that when you have gas it will pass. I never returned to the meditation class.

So it was back to research on the road to enlightenment. Many years have evolved since my search for my enlightenment through meditation began and many experiences have brought me back to the memory of this meditation class for enlightened beings. I knew that some day this experience would provide me with insights that would allow me to access necessary information to assist me on my journey to enlightenment.

What I learned from this experience is:
1. Watch what I eat before I attend a meditation class.
2. Each life experience is useful for learning what I do and don’t want in my life.
3. Laughter can move me forward.
4. It’s O.K. to laugh at myself.
5. You can find enlightenment in the strangest places.
6. From every thought I create an experience.
7. Don’t discount meditation because of gas.
8. When I want something and my intent is clear, I will create it.
The meditation experience did not work for me, my expectations were of a serene, comfortable, calm and loving space where my physical body would not create such havoc with my mental, physical, emotional and spiritual movement forward.

So it was back to the drawing board and moving onto the next step which would lead me forward to enlightenment.
Peace, love, light and blessings

Close your eyes:

Imagine the wall in front of you, the wall behind you

Bring yourself back to your center (Whatever that means to you)

Imagine the wall on the left, the wall on the right

Now Bring yourself back to center.

Imagine the floor beneath you, the ceiling above you.

Bring yourself back to your center!

Now do a progressive relaxation meditation to relieve all stress, all tension, and instill confidence, calmness and total relaxation.

Close your eyes and let your eyelids go loose, limp and totally calm.

Take that calmness and move it down through your cheeks, your nose, and into your mouth.

Notice how your tongue is resting on the roof of your mouth, and let that relaxed and calm feeling move down through your chin, your neck and down to your shoulders.

From your shoulders move the relaxed and calm feeling through your upper arms, your elbows and down into your forearms and your hands.

Notice that your hands are loose, limp and totally calm, let all tension and stress move out through your fingertips, moving out of your body, freely and easily.

Take that calm, relaxed feeling and move it into your chest, and into your diaphragm which controls your breathing.

Notice how your breathing is easy, and clear.

Breath in calmness, relaxation, and healing……..Breathe out all tension, and dis…..ease that exists in your body,………..

Breathing in healing and health, breathing out tension and stress, Breathing in calmness and relaxation, Breathing out all tension and stress………………..

Breathe in and breathe out moving that calm, relaxed feeling through your stomach, your pelvis, and down to your thighs, from your thighs to your knees, from your knees to the calves of your legs, from your legs to the tops of your feet, from the tops of your feet down to your toes.

Notice how all tension, stress and uncertainty leave your body through your feet and enter into the floor, all tension and stress gone as you move that calm relaxed feeling from your feet to the back of your legs, your thighs and through your buttock.

Now imagine a magic set of fingers gently massaging all tension and stress from your back as you allow the fingers to move vertebra, by vertebra, by vertebra, by vertebra up to your shoulder blades, notice how the magic fingers massage, and gently move all tension, stress and uptightness out of your body, massaging and moving, massaging and moving, and now gently massaging your neck, moving vertebra, by vertebra right to the base of your skull, and then let the magic fingers gently move over your head, massaging in clarity, confidence and relaxation as they dance across your head, into your forehead and back to your eyes, now opening your eyes, feeling, calm, relaxed and confident to move through the rest of the day, free of tension, gaining clarity, health and wellness with each step forward during your day.

A Positive Affirmation:

I know that I am loved, safe and protected as I journey through life.  I have comfort and joy in my life.  I embrace success and I am open and ready to manifest this now as I move forward cherishing each moment in the eternal now.

Meditation is the emptying or concentration of the mind through contemplation or relaxation.

Meditation is a personal celebration of the wonder of the universe–and the cultivation of our capacities for awe and amazement at “all that is”.  It involves the unity of self and all beings, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually in the humble recognition of oneself as one small but valuable part of the total.  It is the whole involvement of you, being captivated and excited by the marvel of it all.

To see meditation this way is to recognize other human beings, the earth and the entire universe as sacred and valued.

It means that every single person, entity, and animate object on the planet is to be treated as valuable, deserving of love, respected, and honored as being unique.

The souls journey begins by first loving, respecting and honoring ourselves as the unique being we are knowing that we are not perfect, thus allowing ourselves to grow and change.

Meditation is a unique process for every unique human being.  In order to honor your own personal journey through life you may want to use the following two suggestions to begin your journey to experience the wisdom and wonder of you.  Centering and progressive relaxation can guide you to the peace, love and beauty of the silent mind which is unique to you.

These two processes can be used to ready you for positive affirmations, giving thanks for all that you have, prayers, manifestation of change and movement in your life or whatever you choose for you.

Enjoy your journey.
