Good Night

It was a wonderful day of play and time off!

I really enjoyed my easy going day!

Tonight:

I will sleep soundly and well knowing that my easy going and playful approach today has left me tired, happy and ready to sleep!

Good Night

How much play did you have today?

Peace, love, light and blessings

Good Night

What a wonderful day it was today to be outside and play.

The sun was shining, the corn needed to be picked, the puppy wanted to walk , play and neighbors stopped by to help with a household project.

What more can one ask for….small town living at it’s finest!

Tonight:

I will sleep well knowing that we have fresh food from our garden, friends who are supportive, sharing human beings, and animals who like to play and keep me fit.

I know it is a magical night for fairy dust and dreaming!

Good Night

How was your day today leading to your sleep tonight?

Peace, love, light and blessings

Good Night

Today was a wonderful day, the kind of day that I really wish did not have to come to an end.

Tomorrow is the last day of our program and we are ready to go home!

Tonight is a night that I would love to go out play but it was a time to finish off paper work, and complete many things that I have started.

Now, I am tired……it is time to settle in, rest, relax and  go to bed.

Tonight:

I will sleep well knowing that everything is complete, and in a short time I will be heading home!

I will dream of being back in my own bed, sharing time with my family and friends knowing I will be there soon!

Good Night

What do you need to complete tonight?

Peace, love, light and blessings

Wow. the village I am in is very remote and the internet reception is really limited.  The land is beautiful, and the people here are great to work with.  The children stay outside until it gets dark, play in their little park on the swing set and ride their bikes up and down the main street without worry….

Tonight:

I am grateful for the opportunity to step back in time to my childhood through the children that I observe here.

I will sleep well knowing that my life has moved forward with meaning and that progress has not stopped me from remembering my childhood play!

How well will you sleep tonight?

Peace, love, light and blessings

“Live your life like a child. To some that might sound silly, but children know it all from the beginning. They can love unconditionally, and don’t know the meaning of hate. They live each day for themselves, but will give you their last cookie if they think it will make you smile. A penny makes them rich, but they would give their wealth away in a heart beat, to go enjoy the little pleasures that simply can’t be bought. To a child a star can be anything they can possibly imagine, and a Teddy Bear can be their best best friend. They don’t think it’s silly to jump in puddles, roll down hills, talk to animals and catch snow flakes on their tongues for the sake of a smile. To them there is no such thing as your skin being the wrong color, dressing the wrong way and believing in the wrong god. They cannot be concerned with gossip, harsh words and fighting. It is obvious to them that life is simply a collection of little lives, each lived one day at a time. That each day should be spent finding beauty in the smallest things, and that a day spent with dreaming and sunsets and refreshing breezes cannot be bettered. It is us, as grown ups, that take that all away because we think we know best. We teach them that pennies are worthless, and jumping in puddles is silly. We are the ones that teach them that they they have to look a certain way and believe in certain things. We take away the magic of the stars and tell them that they are nothing but giant, burning rocks, a million miles away. We tell them to put away the Teddy Bear and go find another child to be their best friend. We are the ones that introduce them to hatred, violence, and all the other things that we will soon tell them are wrong. We fill their minds with all these worthless things, until it is all they know. And then, when they themselves are grown ups, we tell them that they made mistakes, had their hearts broken, and missed out on precious moments of happiness, because they should have lived their lives differently . We don’t realize they were only doing everything we taught them to do. We tell them they should have enjoyed the little things, done everything they wanted to do, and that all of the horrible things they encountered in their lives was all for nothing. And when you sum it all up, we tell them exactly this…

Live your life like a child.”

Many of us today can learn a lot from Cheyenne’s words, and today I am choosing to live my life like a child!

How about you?

Peace, love, light and blessings!
